Our Team

All our staff are screened through various procedures including Criminal Records Bureau check. Our carers wear the company uniform which includes a branded red tabard, and staff are required to carry their staff Identity cards at all times. All carers undertake our rigorous training process whereby their intensive 5-day In House Training Programme is supported by shadowing experienced carers and by supported training in practice. Our mandatory training programme covers the following areas:

  • Record keeping and care plans
  • Confidentiality and Client Relationships
  • Communication and Client Communication
  • Infection Control
  • First Aid
  • Health and Safety Awareness
  • Food Safety Awareness
  • Moving and Handling
  • Medication Training
  • Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults

All staff continue their training through a period of study undertaking the Health and Social Care Diploma at Level 2 and SCS carers can continue their training up to Level 5. We offer our staff the opportunity to build a career with us and are committed to investing in our carers’ training to ensure the highest quality of service for our service users. In addition to our In House training programme many other training courses are provided on a regular basis such as training in Dementia Care or Peg Feed Training. If you would like to know if our carers are trained in a specific area then please call our office and we can advise you.
